Talks with GOD

My life is truly blessed with GOD in it.  He has given me the ability to write my feelings and thought down on paper in a journal as record of the many prayers I have and a way to record answered prayers.  The journal is also a way of GOD healing the past hurts and dealing with the feelings inside of me. The journal is another way I talk to GOD.

With Thanksgiving coming soon. Heather and I have only have ourselves to celebrate it. Our family lives in North Carolina which makes it hard for all of us to get together. My grandson married the love of his life last year and they are now expecting a son in February so she cannot travel great distances.  We are so happy and thankful for them.  Many thanks to GOD for allowing this miracle to happen.

Heather and I are counting down the days till Thanksgiving.  We are thankful for the many blessings GOD has given us and the dreams He has shown that He has instore for our future.  We have a traditional meal, that is not the traditional meal of most families, that we prepare in GOD’s honor.

Thanksgiving for us is more than just a holiday.  It is a day that we celebrate all that GOD has blessed us with in our lives and the people He blessed us with being in our lives.  There is a story of why I am so thankful to GOD for my daughter (Heather) which I will tell at a later time so stay tuned to hear the blessing of my daughter and the journey.

We are both grateful to call GOD our Father, the creator of all that we have and share with each other and others that GOD places before us. We have less than two weeks to prepare for this wonderful day of thanks.  GOD is the reason we are filled with gratitude and dreams of a brighter future with GOD.  May GOD bless everyone with peace and love.
