On November first the last of the glass jars was placed on the top of the TV until the day after Thanksgiving because on that day it would be places in the center of the stand that stood beside the Christmas tree.
This third jar was what grandfather call the special jar because the purpose of this jar was to write various types of notes to be placed in the jar. The only rules to this jar was that whatever was placed in the jar had to be to or for someone other than yourself, had to be list if it was a thank you, or could be some kind of gift for someone that was priceless, and notes could be placed in there as many times as a person would want to place a note in the jar. These notes in the jar would not be read until Christmas Day when presents were opened, and everyone was there for dinner.
Stay tuned to see what other family traditions there were and what these note said.
Greetings! Very useful advice in this particular post! It is the little changes that make the largest changes. Thanks a lot for sharing!
Thank you. I have found that some traditions need to be continued.
