One of the verses that has helped me when I have a setback is:
Psalms 91:2 (KJV) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God in him will I trust.
I haven’t been in my Bible like I should have been… I admit that. I cried out to GOD for direction. He led me to Psalms 91. My daughter, Heather, and I are doing a cross reference on this Psalms. It’s a lot of fun. I call it “digging” to find out everything I can about each verse. I’ve been really sick. My appetite went away, and I began losing weight. I couldn’t get out of bed.
My beliefs may not be the same as yours and that’s okay. I stumbled in my walk with GOD and because of that I allowed Satan to attack my health. I wasn’t aware of that until Heather pointed it out to me. As soon as I could get out of my bed, I asked GOD for direction and to help me go to the scriptures I needed to defeat the enemy. He led me to this Psalms.
Psalms 91:4 (KJV) He shall cover thee with his feathers and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and a buckler.
I encourage each of you to read this and know that GOD has got you safely under his wings. Actually, all of Psalms 91 is what I turn to daily. I’m feeling lots better thanks to Jesus, the Great Physician. I am beginning to walk again.
Thank you, Jesus and Praise GOD!
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and pray you will be blessed by it.
Remember GOD and Jesus love you. With the help of the Holy Spirit I was able to find the right words to write this.
Love and Peace,
Debbie
